David Yates talks about the Clues

J.K. Rowling appear as a screenwriter on the film starring Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne. Premiere November 18!

The book Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is already on the shelves around the world and can be purchased now. What is next, the prequel Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be in theaters between September and 18th of November. We have recently seen new photos of magizoologist Newt Scamander with Porpentina Goldstein. However, as noted by the director David Yates (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) at the recent Comic-con; it seems that we know almost nothing about the story that may be a clue when we see the film.

“It’s quite liberating,” explains David Yates as he speaks to the Chicago Tribune. “To approach it from a blank canvas is a plus for me. People should not bring any kind of previous ideas. It is not the same excitement when you realize your favorite chapter has been removed from the film you see. The story comes from the imagination of Jo [JK Rowling], and people will hear it for the first time at the movies, and I think it’s tremendously exciting. ”
