David Heyman, the producer of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, confirms that the story will connect to Harry Potter at its aftermath.
The new story of the magical universe of J.K. Rowling premieres on cinemas on November 18. A world born with Harry Potter now lives a new beginning with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. A few weeks ago, it was announced that this would be the first of a new series consisting of five stories, although little has been revealed about stories of the upcoming episodes, yet what we expected is that Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) remains as an important character.
Recently, David Heyman has spoken about the connection between Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Harry Potter, in particular, it is anticipated that as iconic characters like Albus Dumbledore make an appearance in this or future films. Rowling herself confirmed that the famous director of Hogwarts, professor-in that time and his opponent Grindelwald briefly appear in this first story, but now producer David Heyman brings new details.
David Heyman Interview
In an interview with Hey U Guys, Heyman, who also take part in the newly confirmed Willy Wonka prequel explained that no one knows how many movies Fantastic Beasts will have, but the idea is to make four more parts to develop better the connections between today’s world of Harry Potter and back.
“In this issue there are nuggets about this but will not bloom until the following deliveries, then the connections will be obvious,” said Heyman, who is optimistic about the reception of the film in theaters. His words can be understood whereas we only see a small role of Dumbledore now, in the following episodes Albus and Newt may join forces, what do not you think?
