Peaceful and Invisible Fantastic Beast

The Demiguise is a peaceful being, a herbivore that can become invisible. It is located in the Far East, but only wizards and witches who train them can see them. A demiguise resembles a monkey with big black eyes and long, silky hair. The fur of Demiguise is very valuable since invisibility cloaks can be made using their hair. The layers made of their hair eventually become opaque, losing its invisibility effect over time. The ability of Demiguise to become invisible is used to symbolize the number zero in the runic alphabet.

“Ah, but the Third Relic is a true invisible cloak, Miss Granger! I mean, it is not a traveling cloak conferred a Disillusionment Charm, or containing a blinding spell, or something based fabric Demiguise hair … “

Xenophilius Lovegood commenting on the invisibility cloak.

Demiguise is an original Far Eastern peaceful creature that feeds on plants and has the magical power to become invisible. They are highly sought after as their fur beings used to weave invisibility cloaks. Their capture is very difficult as they can only be hunt by those witches and wizards who have specialized in this field.

This creature is described as mainly tranquil, but very dangerous if it feels threatened. Like an orangutan, it has become an animal of great value in the magical world, and it’s really hard to catch. The only way to catch a Demiguise is to surprise it doing something totally unpredictable.
